Background
Robert Mueller is a second generation builder and was raised building high-end custom homes in California. He formed his own company, the RMCI Group (which stands for Robert Mueller Construction Inc.) in 1984. Since its inception, RMCI has built over 100 homes for clients on a fee basis, and for speculation. The majority of high-end homes were located in La Jolla, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach and Napa and ranged in price from $3,000,000 to $5,000,000. Although RMCI also focused on land entitlement and some commercial development, Mr. Mueller’s true passion has always been for building high-end custom homes, particularly authentic Country French /Tuscan Homes - which is the reason why Ventoux Design and Building was formed. Because the bulk of the homes previously built by Ventoux were on a spec basis, we are so ingrained in the philosophy of building the highest quality of homes, in the quickest amount of time, and in the most cost effective manner – which equates to significant cost savings to our clients.
